Spaghetti Bolognese

Ingredients

75g mince

1 small onion

pinch of mixed herbs

50g tinned tomatoes

1 tsp tomato puree

1/2 a carrot

75g spaghetti

parsley

100ml beef stock

Method

Finely chop onion. Wash, scrape and dice carrot.

Brown the mince with the onion. Add carrot, tomatoes, puree,

herbs and beef stock mix well.

Simmer gently for at least 30mins.

Half fill a large pan with cold water put onto boil.

When the water is boiling carefully add the spaghetti

Boil for 15mins until tender. Drain well through a sieve.

Serve bolognese sauce in a casserole dish on a bed of spaghetti.

Garnish with chopped parsley.
