Raisin Drops

 

Ingredients

 

50g margarine

50g sugar

2.5 ml bicarb of soda

1 dst. Spoon syrup100g self raising flour

50g raisins

 

Method

 

  1. Measure margarine, sugar and syrup into small pan and melt without boiling
  2. Measure flour, bicarb. of soda and raisins into large bowl
  3. Pour melted mixture into bowl and mix well
  4. Shape into small balls on to a greased baking tray
  5. Flatten slightly with a fork
  6. Bake for about 15 mins. until golden.  Cool on a wire tray
