FLORIDA COLESLAW
INGREDIENTS
1/4 white cabbage
1 small carrot
1 small onion
1/4 red eating apple
25g pasta shells
25g mandarin oranges or pineapple pieces
2 tablespoons salad cream
seasoning to taste
parsley (chopped) - garnish.
METHOD
- Half fill a large pan with cold water. Bring to boil, and
boil pasta shells for 10-12 minutes. Drain and allow to cool.
- Wash and shred cabbage, wash, peel and grate carrot.
- Peel and chop onion finely.
- Wash, core and slice apple.
- Mix together cabbage, carrot, onion and apple in a bowl.
- Stir in mandarins / pineapples.
- Add salad cream and mix thoroughly. Add seasoning if required and
mix well.
- Garnish with freshly chopped
parsley.
